Once an employee is selected to be part of the CSS Team they must then be able to pass the following background checks:

  • Ohio Criminal
  • Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI)
  • Ohio Nurse Aid Registry
  • Ohio Department of Medicaid Provider Exclusion and Suspension List
  • Inspector General Database
  • Drug Testing
  • MR/DD Abuser Registry
  • FBI (If have not been a resident of Ohio for the last five years)
  • Sex Offender & Child-Victim Offender Database
  • US Award Management Database
  • DRC Offender Database
  • 2 Personal References

Training

CSS then instructs their Team Members in an extensive training process that involves them in classroom training as well as individual specific training in the homes. Each Team Member is trained in the following areas:
