Randy Nipps

Treasurer/CFO

Randy has over 40 years of experience in the long-term care accounting field. He oversees all aspects of the financial side of the operation. Randy takes pride in being able to find funding sources for any individual’s needs that go beyond his or her available funds. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Account and the Chief Financial Officer at Consumer Support Services, Inc. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Randy began his career in 1977 working for an accounting and consulting firm providing services to companies that specialized in residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities and long-term care industry (nursing homes). Since that time Randy has dedicated his career to helping individuals with disabilities.

Chris Swickard

President/CEO

Chris has been employed with CSS for over 25 years and has worked in virtually every aspect of the business starting out as Direct Support Professional. Chris feels that his inspiration for committing himself to this field comes from his late father and former CEO of CSS Daniel Swickard.  Daniel dedicated 45 years of his life to serving individuals with disabilities. Chris aspires to be like his father, dedicating his life to serving individuals with disabilities. Chris also holds inspiration from his late Aunt Donna Swickard whom had developmental disabilities. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Ohio State University.

Michelle Swickard

Chief Operations Officer

Michelle has over twenty-five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Michelle is a graduate of Defiance College, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a graduate of the Ohio Dominican University, with a Master of Business Administration.  

Previously, Michelle worked as a Service and Support Administrator and later as an Investigative Agent at a county board of DD for over eight years before re-entering the private sector.  Michelle has filled various roles while at CSS which include Site Supervisor, Program Director, and County Director. Michelle values her relationships with individuals, family members and staff throughout the various counties. Michelle is committed to continuous, quality improvement to enhance the lives and independence of those being served.

Becky West

Chief Compliance Officer

Becky has been employed with CSS for 33 years. Becky has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Physical Education, and Health. Becky possesses a vast wealth of knowledge concerning the operations of ICF/DD group homes, Licensed IO Waiver Homes, and IO Waiver /Supported Living Settings. Becky has worked with individuals with a wide variety of diagnosis as well as individuals that have been involved in the judicial system. Becky has written behavior support plans and provided staff with the necessary training and on-going support to ensure proper implementation of these plans.
